We specialise in small group tours of up to 8 people for a flexible and friendly transport service.
Our day begins bright and early from your accommodation. We head south over the Bombay hills, following the Waikato river before heading west towards the rocky outcrops which signal the subterranean features for which the Waitomo district is famous.
We stop along the way for refreshments which may include the delights of a local country cafe or indulge in our complimentary on board home baked morning tea picnic.
Waitomo Caves offers a range of extraordinary experiences. This tour includes a guided walk into the cave, then a gentle drift along an underground river through a magical twinkling glow worm grotto. This entire experience takes approximately 45 minutes.
Our onward journey to Rotorua is broken by a short lunch stop in one of the rural towns along the way. In Rotorua we visit a bubbling thermal field featuring an impressive regularly spouting geyser. View our iconic flightless bird, the kiwi, also in the kiwi conservation area within the thermal park. We have about an hour to peruse the delights of Rotorua before we hit the road for our return journey. Perhaps a Gondola ride to take in the Rotorua landscape, or a hot soak at the Polynesian spa.
Our return trip to Auckland is via rolling rural hills. Our excursion concludes at your accommodation around 7.30pm.
