Terms and Conditions
All prices stated are per person in New Zealand dollars and include 15% Goods & Services Tax (GST). Prices are correct at the date of publication but are subject to change. Child rates: A discount of 50% below the published price applies to children under 14 years. For group bookings of 6 or more, a discount of 10% below the published price applies.
Payment methods and booking conditions
We accept payment by cash and internet banking. Please contact us for our bank account details. Full payment must be made at time of booking.
Bookings cancelled more than 21 days in advance of scheduled departure incur no cancellation charges. Cancellations between 2 and 21 days of scheduled departure incur a fee of 10% of the total booking cost. Bookings cancelled within 24-hours of scheduled tour departure are non-refundable. No refund is available for cancelled or unused tour portions after the tour has commenced.
A cooked breakfast (or continental if you prefer) is included in our overnight tour package, and a barbeque lunch is provided on our west Auckland excursions. Morning and / or afternoon tea is provided on many of our tours. Check the tour itineraries for more details.
We strive to provide quality boutique style accommodation based on twin or double rooms. Boutique ensuite rooms may be available at a supplementary cost. For guests travelling solo, single rooms will incur an accommodation supplement. Alternatively bunk rooms may be available or we will do our best to pair travellers appropriately. Alternative accommodation options may be arranged for family groups. Accommodation is offered subject to the terms and conditions of the accommodation provider.
Routes, Itineraries & Services
From time to time factors outside of our control (such as weather, attraction closure, road works) may force us to deviate slightly from our advertised tour plans. In the event of such influences, Aotea Roadies reserves the right to modify routes and itineraries, however be assured that we will take all steps to provide an experience of equal quality.
Limit of Liability
Aotea Roadies will not be liable for any property loss or damage, and/or any damages resulting in death or personal injury that may arise out of these tours or activities. Aotea Roadies Limited and their agents and representatives are not responsible and expressly disclaim any liability for any injury, damage, loss, delay, change in itinerary or schedules, shortened tour time, additional expense, inconvenience or irregularity, whether to person or property, incurred during the tour in connection with or relating to any act by the client or member of the client’s party.
Property Damages including Luggage
Aotea Roadies accepts no responsibility for any luggage or other goods carried or left in any of our vehicles and we shall have no liability for any loss or damage suffered by the property owner. We will have the right to sell or otherwise dispose of any luggage or other articles left in any of our vehicles if they remain unclaimed for 3 months or more. Aotea Roadies will not be held responsible for any property loss or damage incurred relating to activities of other service providers, subject to your rights under Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
Travel insurance is not included in these prices and guests are recommended to obtain suitable cover, including medical (accident and/or sickness) and baggage.
Under the provisions of the Smoke-free Environments Act 1990 (and the Smoke-free Environments Amendment Act 2003), smoking is not permitted at any time in any of our vehicles, or in the Auckland Regional Parks. Guests must also observe Smoking restrictions of our co-service providers.
Any information supplied to us will be used solely for the purpose of providing our products or services. We will not sell, rent or otherwise make available to any third-party any of your personal information save as required to do so by New Zealand law or by the order any other regulatory body.
We love to have fun on our tours, however Aotea Roadies reserves the right to refuse to carry or to remove from the vehicle any persons behaving in a manner that is dangerous, obscene, or offensive to other passengers or the driver.
